I call my blog Dear Marsha because of a wonderful student of mine who signed up for my winter Thursday night course in 2015 and she could only make the first class (out of 9) because of the absurdly bad weather we experienced. I began writing her descriptions of what she missed. Then other people missed classes too because, well, the winter was continuing to be insane. And then I thought, hey I will just post this stuff on a blog. So here it is.
